In the event of a weather-related delay or closure tomorrow, we will keep families informed of any alternate plans made for Outdoor School. 

🌲 Sixth Grade Outdoor School 2026

Dates: March 10 – 13, 2026

Location: Camp Meriwether (near Cloverdale, Oregon)
We are thrilled to head to the Oregon Coast for a week of hands-on learning and adventure! Please review the following departure details carefully to ensure a smooth start to our trip.

🚌 Departure Tomorrow Morning: Tuesday, March 10

  • 7:45 – 8:00 AM: Arrive at the Pool Parking Lot for student drop-off.
  • Luggage: Please load all gear directly onto the bus immediately upon arrival.
  • Breakfast: After loading their luggage, students will head to their classrooms to enjoy breakfast.
  • Departure: The bus departs for Camp Meriwether at 8:30 AM SHARP!

✅ Quick Checklist

  • [ ] Labeled Luggage: Ensure all gear is clearly marked with the student’s name and "HPE" using masking or duct tape.
  • [ ] Medications: Dropped off at the office by Monday, 3/9.
  • [ ] Arrival: Student dropped off at the pool parking lot by 7:45 AM on Tuesday, 3/10.
  • [ ] Spirit: Ready for an unforgettable week at camp!

⚠️ Important Medication Policy

To ensure student safety and a timely departure, medications cannot be accepted on Tuesday morning. 

🏡 Coming Home: Friday, March 13

The bus is scheduled to return to school at 3:15 PM. Please meet us at the Pool Parking Lot to sign out your student and collect their gear. There is not bus transportation home, students must be picked up from school by a parent/guardian.
