Also, the date was incorrect on the April newsletter for the "Get to Know Kindergarten" Family Night. See below for the corrected information:

Kindergarten Transition/Registration, 2025-2026

Our “Get to Know Kindergarten” Family Night has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Hudson Park kindergarten classrooms and library. Please bring your incoming kindergarten student to the event. This event is a “meet and greet” event intended to provide families with information about kindergarten and to familiarize transitioning students with the classroom and school setting.  This is not a registration event, but staff will be present to assist with any registration questions.


To enroll in kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year, students must be 5 on or before September 1, 2025.  Any kindergarten age-eligible student currently enrolled in Rainier Preschool or Head Start has been automatically enrolled for kindergarten for next school year.  Some additional information may be needed for these students.  Any kindergarten age-eligible student new to Rainier School District will need to register online in order to enroll in kindergarten.  Online registration for next year will open May 1, 2025.
